Technology & Stuff
I was always interested in technology, not necessarily knowledgeable, and not enough to pursue electrical or computer engineering, like many people suggested, but always had a small speck of interest.
Initially I had an iPod Touch 2nd gen. 'Jailbreak', I was told, was what I had to do to customize the touch. Cydia was the hub, If I remember correctly. My first Android device, the Galaxy Note II, was an amazing phone. The community customization available was insane and much more diverse than what iOS has to offer. That is the reason why I prefer playing with android devices.
Come 2013, my speck of interest in computers grew tenfold. Special shout out to r/buildapc and r/battlestations for information and eye-candy. There are some amazing people building amazing custom PCs, with tons of informative resources available. Building custom systems has become an addiction to the point where I enjoy building the system more than actually using it. Over the years I have built many systems, for myself and for others.
Reviving the R9 270
I purchased the R9 270 for my personal rig in 2013.
It was an amazing card for the price at the time for 1080p gaming. As of 2018, it is not as powerful as current-gen graphics, but it will still do a good job of playing older titles at 1080p med settings.
